more vacation stuff

Did Legoland again on Thursday.  I gained a better appreaciation of the place on the second day.  Over 25 million pieces of legos were used to create the life-sized — and bigger — creatures, characters, and people throughout the park.  (go here and here for examples.)  Pretty cool stuff.

true heart, skillful hands

Read through a great passage of scripture today:
 70 He chose his servant David,
      calling him from the sheep pens.

vacation–up early

Up early this morning and thought I’d give some vacation highlights.
Caught a crazy red-eye to LAX.  Arrived on Tuesday a.m. and then drove to Carlsbad.  I was punished; so tired, hardly slept on the plane.  The 5-lane highway turned to 10 at some points.
Got some rest on Tuesday, picked some strawberries, and ate at Bennihana.  [...]
